The Dow has fallen off its highs and is trading up about 80 points right now. The Nasdaq is down about 1% and the S&P is up barely.

The markets are taking a hit this morning after manufacturing growth hit its lowest levels in 2 years. The Institute for Supply Management said its index of manufacturing activity fell to 50.9 percent in July down nearly 5 percent from the month before when it was at 55.3 percent. This is lowest its been since July 2009, one month after the official end of the recession.
Traders continue to wait and see if a debt deal will pass the House and Senate. Late yesterday both party leaders agreed on a deal, but it remains to be seen if the deal will pass. A vote is expected sometime later today.
CXLT is leading the way in penny stocks today and is currently being pumped by one of the biggest stock newsletters.
