Stocks are rebounding today after yesterday’s 200 point loss. Better than expected economic data helped keep investors attention away from Greece today. Private employers created 216,000 jobs in the U.S. last month, beating expectations of 208,000. The major stock indices are up 0.70% or higher with about an hour left in the trading day.
Penny stocks also bounced back today and have seen multiple winners. These include LQMT, BFLX, NEOM and ATRN.
Liquidmetal Technologies (OTCBB:LQMT) is up 44.38% this afternoon at $0.2310. Liquidmetal is seeing a big volume day today with over 22.5 million shares traded so far. The stock hit an intraday high of $0.35 earlier today after the company announced late yesterday it has begun shipping commercial parts to customers.
Bioflamex Corp. (OTCBB:BFLX) is up 8.60% today at $0.5680. This pump moved up a little bit slower today after rocketing more than 200% late yesterday. BFLX has traded 10.4 million shares so far today.
NeoMedia Technologies Inc. (OTCBB:NEOM) is up 23% right now at $0.0123. NEOM is trading big volume today with nearly 72 million shares traded, about 10 times its average volume. NEOM has jumped as much as 100% over the past two days after the company was awarded patent for its barcode management and infrastructure technology.
Atrinsic, Inc. (OTC:ATRN) is up 18.07% today at $0.1901 with an intraday high of $0.2090. ATRN is bouncing back up today after falling about 50% from its high of $0.30 in late February. Volume is lighter today then it was during its previous run up with about 4.7 million shares traded this afternoon. ATRN was trading as much as 19.9 million shares a day on average.

The market is showing no direction today as all the major indices are trading flat this afternoon. Stocks started the day higher, but quickly turned negative as Ben Bernanke met with Congress. The Dow is down 13 points today, the Nasdaq is down 8 points and the S&P 500 is down about 2 points.

North Springs Resources (OTCBB:NSRS) is up 40% today at $0.1560. This former pump bounced today after taking a beating for more than a week now. This rally may not last though unless someone starts pumping it again. NSRS has traded 26.3 million shares this afternoon.
Atrinsic, Inc. (OTC:ATRN) is up 16.37% this afternoon at $0.2630. ATRN has been trading in the range of around $0.20 to $0.26 over the past week. The stock rallied nearly 600% earlier this month when it moved from $0.05 to around $0.30. ATRN has traded 8.1 million shares so far today.

The stock market closed higher today thanks to better than expected jobs data. Initial claims for unemployment remained unchanged last week at 351,000, analysts were expecting it to rise to 354,000. It looks like the market may be due for a correction as it get near its former highs. Some analysts are calling for a major correction of up to 10%.
Penny stocks were active today with some stocks seeing good gains and other stocks falling even more. Former pumps NSRS and TKDN were hit hard today and lost 32% and 59% respectively.
Atrinsic, Inc. (OTC:ATRN) bounced back today after dropping the past few trading days. ATRN closed up 14.29% today at $0.24 and hit an intraday high of $0.2530. The stock saw heavy volume today with 20 million shares traded. Despite the recent sell off, ATRN is still up 400% this month.
Fannie Mae (OTCBB:FNMA) closed up 13.99% today at $0.3260. FNMA has traded 8.1 million shares so far today, well above its daily average of 5.9 million shares. Shares of FNMA bounced back today after dipping from $0.40 to less than $0.30 over the past week.
Communications Intelligence Corp. (OTCBB:CICI) finished the day up 25% at $0.10 with an intraday high of $0.11. CICI traded heavy volume today with 7 million shares traded. The stock trades about 170 thousand shares on an average trading day. Ebix, Inc. (NASDAQ:EBIX) announced a partnership with Communication Intelligence Corporation today.

North Spring Resources (OTCBB:NSRS) is up 8% today at $0.5610. NSRS is up on large volume with 47 million shares traded so far today. NSRS continues to release news on a near daily basis. Today, the company announced it has signed a letter of intent to acquire four producing gold properties.
Atrinsic, Inc. (OTC:ATRN) is up 11.78% today at $0.2950. ATRN has traded 24.1 million shares this afternoon, above its average of 17 million shares. ATRN shares are rebounding today after dipping on Wednesday.

The entire stock market is turning negative as investors continue to worry about the situation in Greece. It looked like a deal was done in Greece, but is starting to unravel as meeting between EU finance ministers was cancelled today. Tech stocks have helped keep the Nasdaq in positive territory for most of the day, but are also beginning to slip in afternoon trading.

Atrinsic, Inc. (OTC:ATRN) is up 33.96% today at $0.3550. ATRN is up on big volume today with 19.4 million shares traded. ATRN shares are up more than 300% over the past three weeks.
AER Energy Resources (OTC:AERN) is up 58.73% at $0.01. AERN has traded 84 million shares and hit an intraday high of $0.0129 earlier today. AER Energy acquired three OK O&G leases from Texas Energy Inc.

Stocks are moving higher today after Greece politicians passed new austerity measures in order to receive a second bailout package. Protests have erupted in Greece as people and police clash over the unpopular austerity measures. Apple shares went over $500 for the first time earlier today before falling back below it.
The major indices are all up over 0.5% with the Dow up 67 points, the Nasdaq up 24 points and the S&P 500 is up 8 points.
Atrinsic, Inc. (OTC:ATRN) is up 36.56% today at $0.2230. ATRN has traded 14 million shares so far today. ATRN shares are up more than 500% in the past few weeks. Back in late January, ATRN was trading at less than $0.04 before starting its big move upward. No news on ATRN so it could be a possible promotion causing this big move.
Solos Endoscopy Inc. (OTC:SNDY) is up 78.79% today at $0.0059. SNDY has traded 94.4 million shares this afternoon. No recent news on SNDY after it has popped up more than 100% in the past two days.
Ants Software Inc. (OTC:ANTS) is up 25.22% today at $0.0288. ANTS has traded 21 million shares today, three times its average volume. No news on ANTS either. Looks like a lot of possible stock promotions going on in penny stocks today.
NSRS also saw some action today. The stock is up about 10% right now at $0.7350. NSRS had been dropping for about a week now after briefly going over $1.60 on Feb 7. Since then, the stock has dropped by 50% and it looks like this pump could be winding down.

The overall stock market is rallying today after a positive report on jobs this morning. The Labor Department said companies hired 243,000 people last month. This is the strongest in nine months. The hiring spree caused the unemployment rate to fall to 8.3%. The Dow, Nasdaq and S&P 500 are all up more than 1% today.
On the penny stock front, NSRS continues to go higher as it goes over a buck today. EKDKQ and ATRN are also posting decent gains this afternoon.

Who knows how long this will last.
Eastman Kodak Co (OTC:EKDKQ) is up 17.32% today at $0.4810. EKDKQ has traded 23.8 million shares in afternoon trading at hit an intraday high of $0.5190 this morning. These bankrupt stocks tend to have a lot of daytraders come in and out of them to make quick money. Be careful though, when the company comes out of bankruptcy these shares will be worthless. Same thing happened with Blockbuster last year.
Atrinsic, Inc. (OTC:ATRN) is up 21.67% today at $0.0730. ATRN has traded 15 million shares today and was as high as $0.0850 this morning. ATRN shares were down for most of the week after it hit a high of over $0.09 last week.
